Methodology v0.1 · Classification
EXPLICIT / INFERRED / DERIVED
Not every Scriptural signal carries the same kind of textual support.
EXPLICIT signals are directly stated in the biblical text. The relationship between the text and the signal requires little or no interpretive bridge.
INFERRED signals are not stated in identical terms but follow through a documented textual or logical derivation.
DERIVED signals arise from repeated biblical patterns, typology, agricultural structures, historical precedent, thematic correspondence, or other multi-step relationships across Scripture.
Derived does not mean unimportant. It means the provenance chain must remain visible.
The further a signal sits from explicit wording, the greater the burden to show how it was derived and the easier it must be for another reader to challenge that derivation.
Classification describes the basis of the signal, not the certainty of its fulfillment.
